Home links  A new set of Home Links will be sent home soon.  These are an important

                    part of our math curriculum, offer great practice, and are required homework.

It works best to send the whole packet when your child is finished rather than

one at a time.  Please be sure your child has his/her name on it!

 

Book It      20 minutes for 20 days is the goal! Write it on the calendar and send it at the

              end of the month.  Those children meeting the goal will get the coupon for a

                     free personal pizza from Pizza Hut.

Conferences I have sent home everyone’s conference time.  Please let me know as soon as

                    possible if you are unable to attend your child’s conference so we can set up

          another time. Conferences are an important time for us to about

           your child’s progress in school and ways we can work together to help your child

          be successful in school.

      

Recess        Please be sure that your child has the appropriate clothing for recess.  The

weather is getting colder and many of the children are coming to school

with a light jacket or even sandals.  The children are expected to go out for

recess for 30 minutes each day.

 

Box tops    Please keep sending in those box tops!  Every one helps outs.  We appreciate all

              the help we can get. We are also collecting labels.  THANKS!!!!

 

Book         A new book order will be coming home this week.  This would be great ideas

Order        for Christmas gifts for your child!  Orders will due back on Monday, November 18th.

 

Book Fair   Don’t forget about stopping by the book fair November 4th- 8th.  There are lots of great books!

 

Snacks       Please be sure to check your child’s calendar for your snack day. The children

                     forward to snack and really need it with lunch being so late.

 

Calendars   Check your child’s calendar each day!  They should be coloring it to match their

                    card each day.  This gives you information about how your child’s went.  If your

                    child is on red or blue I will be initialing it.
