2nd Grade Friends

Home Links        Please work on Home Link packets as they come home.  The next one is attached and is due on March 15.  This is required homework for your child.  We need to be practicing our addition/subtraction facts up to 20, adding/subtracting two digit numbers, telling time, and counting money.  These skills need to be automatic to your child before going to 3^rd grade next year.

Welcome back!  I hope everyone had a nice relaxing break.  January is a VERY busy month with lots of important dates to remember.  Please read this over and mark your calendars!  We have put these important dates on your child’s monthly calendar for you as well but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Dear Families,

Our party is going to be on Wednesday, October 31^st  after the parade. The

parade will be at 1:00 pm. We will be walking down Michigan Avenue to the bank and

back to school. Please keep the weather in mind and have your child dress

accordingly.  We won’t be getting dressed until after lunch so please send your

child’s costume to school in a bag with his/her name on it. Remember that toy
