Put A STOP to Discipline Problem
A positive, proactive classroom management system will be used in order to encourage self-control, self-esteem, self direction and cooperation. In our classroom we will be using a stop sign to represent the different stages of consequences in the classroom.
Green WONDERFUL! Your child had a great day.
Yellow: This is just a warning.
Red:This is a stop and think time. This means that your child has lost all privilege for the rest of the day.
Blue: All of the consequences of the a red card apply as well as a parents will be notified by a phone call from your child explaining his/her behavior. These consequences may seem harsh to some of you but I feel these are necessary to maintain an effective learning environment for all students to learn.

This year you will know every day what color your child was on. There will be a calendar in your child’s MOOSE Book, which will be filled out every day. If your child is on red, you will find my initials as well as the color. If they stay on green for a whole month there will be something special for your child. We hope that is will help to encourage positive behaviors
